Please find enclosed below the material that was shared during the call, and some highlights from the lively conversations we had:
Make sure you are "above the line" (versus "below the line") when you are having a difficult conversation - i.e. you don't want to be tired, or taken by surprise
It is OK to buy yourself time if you are not ready to have a difficult conversation. Setting up limits is also about informing the other person you will have the discussion later.
Keeping the little voice in your head under control is not easy, and yet critical as if you let it loose you usually end up in the wrong place!
